Her Majesty the Queen's Golden Jubilee Visit to Her Armed Forces

On behalf of The Ministry of Defence Golden Jubilee visit Project Team, Site Co-ordination and Production Management for the visit on 27 June 2002, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, by Her Majesty the Queen and his Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh to the Armed Forces at HMS Excellent, Whale Island and Portsmouth Naval Base. Having arrived by Helicopter and taken the salute from a tri-service guard of honour, the Royal Party witnessed a number of displays and exhibitions. 'Service Lives' visually portrayed the stories of nine individual 'unsung heroes' from the Services who had achieved extraordinary goals. In each of three eighty metre diameter display quadrants some 250 Service men and women enacted operational scenarios covering Entry in Theatre, Combat and Peace Support.
